How do fractional skin resurfacing treatments work?
Our revolutionary SharpLight factional laser technology produces a micro epidermal peel, which through a thermo-mechanical reaction, removes the problematic areas on the top layer of the skin. Our fractional technology fosters quicker healing by creating small islets of wounds in the skin. To resurface the skin, the laser-tissue interaction will result in the ablation of superficial skin layers with minimal collateral thermal damage.
The surrounding intact skin supports the body’s healing and rejuvenation efforts through the body’s natural wound-healing response and process of neocollagenesis (which is the process for forming new collagen). The new fresh layer of skin that grows in its place has improved texture, reduced or disappeared rhytids, wrinkles, scarring and spots, plus an overall renewed glow.

A consultation is always required before treatment can occur.
Do fractional laser treatments hurt?
The level of discomfort differs from person to person. Topical anesthetic is offered prior to treatment.
How long do treatments take?
Treatments are 30 minutes. Full appointments are often 45 minutes, and a consultation is required prior to any treatment.
When will I start to see results?
Clients experience visible and noticeable results after each treatment.
What is the recovery time after treatment?
Clients will begin peeling on day 3-4. Full healing time is around day 7.
How many treatments do I need?
A consultation is required to determine the ideal number of treatments needed to reach the desired goals. Treatments are spaced 4 weeks apart.
For superficial skin concerns such as mild hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores and skin texture, one treatment is generally suitable. For treating deeper scarring, darker hyperpigmentation and/or wrinkles, more than one treatment may be preferred.
While complete scar removal or stretch mark removal is possible, some scars and stretch marks cannot be fully removed, only reduced.
How long do results last?
Results are long lasting. Dependent on what skin concerns are being treated, results may last several years.
